Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 8 ounces burrata cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil, tor
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven now.
  2. Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter.
  3. Brush the dough with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and sprinkle the minced garlic evenly across the surface.
  4. Arrange the halved cherry tomatoes across the dough, cut side up, and season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Transfer the pizza to your preheated stone or baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden.
  6. Remove the pizza from the oven and tear the burrata into chunks, distributing it across the hot pizza.
  7. Drizzle with the remaining olive oil and scatter fresh basil leaves over the top. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
  8. Slice the pizza and serve immediately.

Notes

Choose ripe cherry tomatoes for the best flavor. Use fresh mozzarella as a substitute for burrata if needed. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
